Bob Mucha – Director of Golf / PGA Golf Professional
Bob is a resident of Southwick, MA. He has been with Edgewood Golf Course in Southwick, MA for 3 years. He has 24 years in PGA. He was 2014 Merchandiser of the Year in Northeast NY PGA. He graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 1995 with a Degree in Business Management. Very recently Bob qualified for the Senior PGA Professional Championship, set for Desert Mountain GC in Scotsdale, AZ, Sept. 28- Oct 1, 2017.
Lawrence W. Dodge – Golf Course Superintendent
Lawrence (Larry) was born and raised in Northampton, Massachusetts. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts in 1978, Majoring in Turf Management. He did an internship at the Canoe Brook Country Club in Summit, New New Jersey which is the site of several major tournaments and the yearly U.S. Open Qualifiers. His career is highlighted by hosting the Women’s LPGA Chrysler-Plymouth Classic at the Navesink Country Club in Red Bank, New Jersey (1987 to 1988).He moved back to Massachusetts in 2014 and accepted the golf course position at the Edgewood Golf Course in Southwick, Massachusetts. His leadership skills, accompanied by several years of experience, will take on the challenges needed to expand the future improvements at Edgewood Golf Course.Larry is looking forward to working with the staff, department heads and the shareholders. And he encourages anyone with suggestions, questions or concerns to contact him. He states- “I’m always available to help”
David Schwarm - President
Dave is a resident of Marlborough, CT. His Grandfather was a Major Share holder of Edgewood since the early 60’s. He, his brother, Cousin and Aunt now hold those shares. He has been on the Board of Director’s (on and off) since 2013. He is also the former Treasurer of Edgewood. He has 27 years of experience in the Turf Management Industry as a CT Licensed Ornamental & Turf Supervisor, is a Licensed Arborist and has an extensive background in marketing. He and his wife Sherry are 2x Ironmen, have 3 adult children and are soon to be grandparents.
His goal for Edgewood is simple, “create an experience for the Western Mass and CT golfer that is fun, family friendly, a great value and welcoming”.
Robert (Bob) Schwarm- Treasurer
Robert (Bob) Schwarm, Chief Information Officer of the Metropolitan District in Hartford, leads the company’s IT, information protection and security functions.
Prior to the MDC, Bob worked for Hartford Healthcare, where he held a variety of positions of various responsibilities, including most recently as the CTO and Director of IT Strategy. He has also worked for Cisco Systems, Lucent Technologies and Federal Agencies and is a former US Marine Corps Sargent.
Bob lives in the Hartford suburbs with his wonderful wife of 28 years and their three children, though two are away at university.
