Edgewood Country Club is a beautiful 18-hole public course located in Southwick, Massachusetts, at the foot of the Berkshires.


Our History

Geoffrey Cornish, a prolific golf course architect, played a significant role is the postwar spread of golf throughout America. His career spanned the entire second half of the 20th century, designing and remodeling more than 250 golf courses mostly in the Northeast.

Our Staff

Bob Mucha - Director of Golf, PGA Professional/GM

Bob’s life-long passion for golf began when he acted as caddy during his father’s matches.  This passion led him to play golf for Florida Atlantic University (FAU).  He excelled there and was named All-American in 1985. He graduated from FAU in 1985 with a degree in Business Management. 

Bob has been in the PGA for 29 years having been elected in 1993. Some stand out achievements are: Winning the Bermuda Open in 1986, 2014 Merchandiser of the Year in the Northeast New York PGA, PGA Connecticut section Senior Player of the Year in 2020 and most recently winning the Connecticut PGA championship in 2021.

Edgewood has thrived under his leadership for the past 8 years. Bob wants to continue to raise the bar, making Edgewood Golf Course one of the most family friendly courses in Western Massachusetts. His professional goal is to share his love of the Game with others so they can experience the fulfillment this sport has brought to him.


Jacob “Jake”Brady – Golf Course Superintendent

Jake Brady is a seasoned professional in the golf course industry. His journey began in his hometown of Worthington Ma where he started as an assistant. This role laid the foundation for his education and growth in the field. Jake went on to attend the Stockbridge School of Agriculture at UMass Amherst where he earned his degree in Plant and Soil Science in 2000.

With his education and experience, Jake held several important positions in the industry. He worked as the Assistant Superintendent at Berkshire Hills Country Club in Pittsfield Ma, and then moved on to serve as Superintendent at the Northampton Country Club in Northampton Ma. In 2016, he left Northampton and secured the Superintendent role at Donnybrook Country Club in Lanesborough, Ma before coming to Edgewood Golf Course. As a member of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GSCAA), Jake is excited to meet the staff and members of Edgewood Golf Course and is eager to bring his skills and expertise to the course to make it a well-maintained and challenging golf experience for all.
